Back Story

One project in Animation class was to create your own set of character(s) and animate them in Adobe Flash CS6. I create a story about two polar bears living in between a penguin at the north pole. More on a comedy aspect, I tried to make it as interesting as I could. The drawing of the scenes took a lot of time to get correct for the backgrounds. Only a few seconds of animation are used and I hope to continue the project for a more lengthy movie. It is very time consuming to animate projects and for this one, I relied on Motion Tweens and the Deco-Tool.

Green Screen Video

Another project I made was a green screen project. My idea was to record a "vlog" on the ISS. The ISS is short for the International Space Station. The second slide is a fictional video of me on the moon without a helmet or space suit. The last clip is the conclusion back on the earth, talking in front of the Soyus Spacecraft. This was a simple project polished up in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. By taking the color tolerance of the green screen and cranking it up, I can import still images to drop in the background to sell the effect more. The project called for about a minute in dialog length, it was a fun project and a challenge remembering some of the dialog.

Good Day for Hockey

This is a quick minute video created on a tripod and shot with a Contour Roam2 Action Cam. Different camera shots were hard to establish. I have little to none for filmmaking equipment. All in all, the video didn't turn out that bad after all. The sun in winter is only up for a couple hours after school and it was the only opportunity to film.

Abstract Animation

This is a quick 8 second base color animation. The purpose of the abstract animation is to get colors to repetitively doing the same thing. It isnt the best of quality but it brings out the very basics to a quick animation of colors and shapes

PSA

Public Service Announcement Project
When I see people park in handicap spots I for some reason get really annoyed... Use your legs and walk for the people that cannot walk, or for the people not being able to use their legs. Take the extra 20 steps of walking to let a disable person use the handicap spot, thank you.

Scratch Project

For the Week Of Code, our class had an assignment to create a game in scratch. My game consisted of collect bananas, very simple. The character could walk left and right, and jump. Elevators are used by pressing on the spacebar. Scratch is a very interesting coding program even if the coding for the software is very simple. To reset the game the player has to click the green flag in the top right corner. At the end of the game the character needs to press the down arrow to go into the portal, after this reset the game and play again

Story of Me

Story Of Me

               Another project created is the story of me. This involved photoshop to crop my head from a picture. Next I created some backgrounds and objects for the animation process to begin. This is a very short story of what I want to do when I get older. Work for NASA maybe being an Aeronautic Engineer.
