Super Hero Project

This is a background made by scratch to put into a super hero animation. To get the 3-D effect in Adobe Flash of an alley way I created an optical illusion. To do this I drew the bricks increasingly getting smaller and angled. The lighting was created with a radial color blend for a lighting shadow effect. The super hero is not yet created but sometime this week I will created him/her and animate the story.

Stop Action Short

A Stop Action Short about a dying iPod. The destination needed to be reached to get to the charger. This was a quick and simple project to do. This was filtered in Adobe Photo Shop then finished in IMovie.

Bouncing Ball

           Bouncing Ball.
Adobe Flash Animating...
For the first time ever, I had to use Adobe Flash. My animation class was assigned a project called the bouncing ball. Being new to the software my animations were not very proficient. The project consisted of a ball bouncing across a background we were required to make. Once a good amount of frames have been used the ball would stop and pop into a character. The character that was composed needed to consist of at least three layers, body, eyes, mouth. Additional characteristics were not required but you could add more layers if you chose to. I went with two extra layers, a feet layer to animate the jumping. Also a miscellaneous layer for anything to make the animation look as real as I could possibly make it. The background is a simple design I made of a city, nothing special. As I continue to use the program I hope to improve on animating. I notice when working with 15 frames per second the product is kind of choppy. Hopefully I can find the time to do maybe 20 or 30 frames per second, it will make for a very smooth animation quality. Of course this is more time consuming but quality can be key. This is nothing special just a first time animation, enjoy.
